Scope The Global Food Ethics, Journalism & Policy Program in Global scale is dedicated to fostering a global dialogue on food ethics, sustainability, and policy through the lens of responsible journalism and informed policy-making. This program aims to integrate the fields of ethics, media, and policy to address complex issues related to food systems, including but not limited to food security, sustainable agriculture, ethical consumption, and the social, environmental, and economic impacts of food production and distribution. The scope of this program extends to engaging stakeholders from multiple sectors including government, academia, media, civil society, and the private sector, with a particular focus on: 1. Ethical Food Systems: Investigating ethical frameworks for food production, distribution, and consumption, considering the cultural, economic, and ecological consequences on a global scale. 2. Journalism and Media: Promoting responsible journalism to raise awareness and disseminate accurate information on food-related issues, particularly regarding misinformation and its impacts on food security and public health. 3. Food Policy Development: Analyzing and advocating for food policies that prioritize sustainability, equity, and human rights while addressing global challenges like climate change, hunger, and inequality. 4.
